Maureen Gore, Education Scotland’s Assistant Director, Emerging Technologies, provides the latest update on the Glow Migration Project

We are delighted that every Glow user across Scotland will have free access to the latest Office365 web application suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote and Lync. Everyone can create and share learning and teaching resources which are then easily accessible both at school and at home. These tools will become available as each stakeholder migrates into the new environment.

The National Glow Team are currently working on simple step by step guides on using Glow to enhance learning and teaching. These examples will be based on learner/teacher scenarios setting out the use of the new Glow components, how they could be applied within a learning context to exemplify potential impact upon learning.
