Wallacewell Primary has a current role of 390 children ranging from Primary 1 to Primary 7. There are 15

straight year classes and this is subject to change on a yearly basis due to the fluid nature of school intake.

Wallacewell Primary is a non-denominational school for boys and girls and we are part of the

Smithycroft Learning Community.  Smithycroft Secondary is our local catchment high school.

 

SCHOOL HOURS

Breakfast club is available from 8.00 a.m. to 8.45 a.m.

Soft Start from 8.45 a.m. to 9.00 a.m.

School  starts at 9.00 a.m.

   Interval is from 10.30 a.m. to 10.45 a.m.

     Lunch is between 12.15p.m. – 1.00p.m.

           School finishes at 3.00p.m.

We operate a “soft start” for all pupils.  All children will go to their classrooms from 8.45 a.m., and

therefore no longer line up in the playground at 9.00 a.m. as they should all be ion class by this time.

The classes will be supervised by a member of staff until 9.00 a.m.  This will allow a much quicker start

to the school day with children organised and ready to start learning at 9.00 a.m.

At 9 a.m. the rear doors to the school will be closed.  Pupils arriving after the school bell should go to the office via the main doors at the front of the school.  Should your child be late, you will receive a text message.
