Lights, Camel, Action!

Lights! Camel! Action! Primary 1b were outstanding as they performed the annual nativity. They  sang, danced and acted their way through rehearsals and shows and “wowed” their audience who clapped, cheered and laughed.

P1b Numeracy

This week primary 1b have worked incredibly hard in numeracy. We enjoyed exploring addition using concrete materials and practised writing sums using the mathematical symbols + and =.

P1b weekly update

This week in P1b we started our new IDL topic of Superheroes in the playroom. The children took part in a range of activities including role play, mask designing, exploring kinetic electricity and building a new superhero headquarters.

First Week Back in the Playroom

We have had a wonderful first week back in P1b.

The children have all worked incredibly hard in all areas of their learning. Everybody loves our Room on the Broom topic and the children had a wonderful time exploring forces and story through a range of play experiences.

First Week Back – Wildside Nature

Primary 1 had an amazing experience with Wildside Nature when Donald came in to deliver a workshop. The children were learning about Halloween animals such as bats, owls and spiders.

They moved around like the animals and pretended to silently hunt their prey.

The highlight was learning about how bats use echo location to fly around in the dark and having an opportunity to be blindfolded and find each other.

Another great learning day in Primary 1b!
