Primary 1 are superheroes this week. They have been learning to count and add. They have also compared the qualities of a good friend and a superhero and discovered that deep down we are all superheroes.

They had great fun learning about friction and static and were able to create enough static electricity to stick balloons to the walls and ceiling and make our hair stand on end.

They have been using instruments to create superhero onomatopoeia sound effects like bang, boom, crash, pow. Noisy but fun and effective.
