This week in school Primary 2 have been working so hard and they have been doing lots of learning!

We have been learning to count in 2s. (Adyan)

We have been learning how to count in 10s. (Fatima)

We have been reading books and telling stories. (Nimrah)

We have been practising odd and even numbers. (Aisha Afzal and Zaid)

We have been learning how to write stories. (Tayiba)

We have been active. This was our focus of the week. (Sanjog)

We have been learning about double numbers. (Hamza)

We have been learning sounds in reading. (Jasim)

We are looking forward to learning about energy next week! (Kasim)

We have had a great week in school and we have learned lots of new skills.

This week we have been learning about Nurture and taking care of each other. (Tayiba)

We have learned to look after people and help them with everything. (Zainab)

We have been learning how to summarise a story. We summarised the story of Goldilocks, from the beginning, middle and end. (Aarzan)

In Science we have been learning how to save electricity. When you are leaving a room you should put the lights and the televisions and computers off! (Minal)

We have been learning to count on and back in 10s to 100. (Adyan)

This week we made up our own stories. We were authors and illustrators! (Eesa)

We are looking forward to learning lots of new things and having fun in school next week.

Primary 2 have had an exciting week in school and we have loved our outdoor learning week.

We were learning about plants (Sofia).

We were learning about bees and how they make honey (Minal).

We were learning about tricky words: I and to (Talha).

We were learning about birds nests and we went outside to try and find nests (Hashim).

We were learning about tricky words in our hide n seek trick word game (Sarim).

We were learning about bird feeders and we made some of our own (Zahraa).

We put out our own bird feeders to try to encourage birds to come to our school (Aiman).

We were learning about tricky words: I, do, to and be (Eesa).

The highlight of our week was having a fire outside. Everybody was so excited and P2 loved having toasted marshmallows and hot chocolate by the fire!

Thank you to all the families who came to join us on Thursday for our picnic. The boys and girls loved making fruit salad and sharing it with you!
