Dear Parents/Carers
Happy New Year! 2020 was not the year any of us hoped for but we are all praying that 2021 brings us peace, health, comfort and an end to these inside times.
Some of you have told me how worried you are for your children missing school and missing their friends. All I can say to you is that your amazing children will rise to the challenge of what is ahead. They will live long, successful lives and these few months will be a distant memory for them very soon.
I want to reassure you that all staff here have been working towards providing an excellent remote learning service which will take place on teams. We will also be giving you physical packs which will be available for collection or delivered to you if you are unable to collect. All of this learning is based on our assessments in term one and term two and is the learning they would be doing if they were in school.
We know that the children will be missing their friends and hope to build in time for them to chat online. Also we will have live check ins and assemblies. We are trying to make sure the children experience the whole of school as much as they can online.
This is such a difficult time managing work, lockdown and supporting your children. It is important that you make sure you do not put yourself under too much pressure. If your children are not ready to learn then give them some time and go back to tasks.
The building will be open and we are available to answer questions by phone, email and through teams.
As ever, if you need anything please contact us and we will try and help you as much as possible.
We will also try and communicate with you as much as possible. We will be calling you every week to check in and make sure we are giving all of you, especially your children, the support we need.
Wishing you much love in these difficult times.
