Good Morning!

I’m sure your child would have told you about our exciting day yesterday when reindeers and their elves visited our school.

Thank you to our Parents Council for organising this.

Each child had an individual photograph taken and these are on sale in a frame for £3. Please send £3 with your child if you wish to purchase your child’s photograph.

Term 2 events

• From Tuesday 24th November – Food collection for the food bank. Please donate non – perishable food into the box at the front door. Thank you
• Week beginning Monday 7^th December – Xmas story week Parents are invited to read through teams to classes throughout the week.
• Week beginning Monday 7^th December – Christmas Dancing with Kate
• Thursday 10^th December -Xmas jumper day – Wear your Xmas jumper and bring a £1 for charity.
• Thursday 10th December – Xmas film to be shown in class with juice & popcorn. Tickets will be £3.
• Friday 11th December – Nativity Virtual performance
• Friday 11th December – Class Parties with a visit from Santa.

Book Week letter

Book Week is coming up shortly and to celebrate we are holding a number of events in school. Please view the link below on how you can help your child at home.

We are looking for parents to read stories through teams to different classes in different languages. We have done this before and children really enjoyed it. Please phone the office if you would like to take part.

Families Connect is a programme St Albert’s have been running over the last few years.
It has been very successful in:

• Promoting good relationships between parent, child & teacher
• Increasing confidence in the child & the parent
• improving home learning

This year we offer the course via teams. There will be an hourly session every week for 6 weeks. Your child will be given games & resources to take home. I will work with you on our weekly sessions to guide you through the learning activities. Previously parents have really enjoyed our sessions and made new friends.

I hope to commence the course the first week in November. Please phone the office if you would like to be involved.
