Hello Everyone,

Welcome to Week 3 of our Elmer Transition Project.   We hope you are having lots of fun trying out the activities with us.  This week we are going to be using lots of maths skills.

Here are some special challenges.

Elmer Week 3

1.Count the Birds

How many birds are in the picture?  They are going to join Elmer in his parade, can you help colour in their feathers with different patterns?

2. Dice Game

Recognising numbers on a dice is an important skill.  Take turns to roll the dice.  Match the numbers to the colours on the game board.  Colour in the matching number.

4.  Colour Walk

Try going on a walk to the school.  What can you see?  What do you hear?  What can you smell?  Look for things that match each of Elmer’s colours and draw them on the sheet.

5. Teacher challenge

The P1 teachers challenge this week is to put your shoes on and off by yourself.  If you have laces on your shoes you will need to be able to tie them all by yourself.

When you can do this, put a sticker on your Elmer chart
