For Literacy, we continued developing our Film Literacy skills through Lord of the Rings. We focused on developing our inference skills by discussing how the ring impacts different characters throughout the story. We also explored character analysis by making comparisons and connections between characters, helping us to prepare thoughtful predictions based on what we know so far.

In Maths, we completed our maths assessments throughout the week. Everyone showed resilience and determination, using their prior knowledge and growth mindset strategies to try their very best. We are proud of the effort and positive attitudes shown by everyone.

We also enjoyed taking part in Sports Day this week. Our P7 pupils were fantastic role models, helping to set up activities and supporting younger children during some of their very first sports days. It was wonderful to see such teamwork, encouragement and leadership on display across the school.

We are also looking forward to our residential trip next week, where there will be lots of exciting activities, opportunities to challenge ourselves and plenty of fun to be had!
