In numeracy this week, we have been learning all about negative numbers. We talked about where we might see negative numbers in real life, such as temperatures. We practised comparing and ordering numbers, as well as adding and subtracting negative numbers.

We also continued working on our library poem which we started last week. Over the next few weeks, we will be entering a poetry competition based on the theme “What Glasgow Means to Us.” We are excited to share our ideas and creativity through our poems.

In reading, we have been working hard on developing our inference skills. We practised spotting inference questions and looking for clues in the text to help us understand deeper meanings and answer the questions.
