This week in Primary 6A, we had a visit from the PATHS team to help us with our buddy training. We acted out different playground situations that might happen when we are buddies. Some of the situations were tricky, but they helped us learn what to do, who to ask for help, and how to follow the buddy rules properly. We learned how important it is to be kind, calm, and helpful so that younger children feel safe and happy in the playground.
We are also getting very excited as we prepare for our Burns Showcase. We are learning two songs, Heather on the Hill and Caledonia, and practising two ceilidh dances. We have been working hard to remember the dance steps, move in time with the music, and help each other when someone forgets. We are having lots of fun and are really proud of how well we are working together. We can’t wait to show everyone what we have been learning!
