We are officially into Term 4 and what a fantastic start we’ve had! It has been lovely to welcome everyone back after the break, refreshed, motivated, and ready to learn.
This week, we spent time consolidating our previous learning across a range of areas, giving us the chance to revisit key skills and check our understanding as we move towards the end of Primary 4.
In literacy, we have begun exploring how to write a non-chronological report. The children have enjoyed identifying the key features of this genre and are looking forward to creating their own informative pieces. We have also started our new class novel, George’s Marvellous Medicine, which has already captured lots of interest and sparked great discussion.
In P.E., we have kicked off our athletics block. This has been a great way to build fitness and teamwork, and it links nicely with the excitement building around the upcoming Commonwealth Games.
It has been a brilliant first week back, and we are looking forward to all the learning and achievements still to come this term!
