Hello and a warm welcome to Term 4, everyone!

Our first week after the Spring break has been full of new learning and recapping on prior learning.
In spelling, we recapped on the first phoneme families we learned back in Term 1 – ‘ae’ and ‘ee’ – and in Reading, we focussed on comprehension of our reading books. In Numeracy, we applied all of our knowledge of fractions to worded problems and in Writing, the children were introduced to this Term’s genre: Report Writing. To properly mark the beginning of Spring, we also created cherry blossom tree art. Finally, for Earth Day, we created posters, reusing scrap resources, to raise awareness of how to help our environment.
