Primary 3b Wallacewell Primary

This week in P3B

What a busy and exciting week we have had in class! In maths, we focused on comparing time using digital clocks, helping us build confidence with reading and understanding different times throughout the day. In literacy, we celebrated Sir David Attenborough’s birthday by learning about his incredible life and writing about his achievements.

We were excited to receive a new floor book filled with thoughtful questions about our school, encouraging us to share our ideas and opinions. On Wednesday, we enjoyed a fantastic Sports Day—thank you to everyone who came along to support and cheer on our teams. Later that afternoon, some of us took part in Play Along with Maths, where learning was both fun and interactive.

In science, we explored the life cycle of a sunflower before having the opportunity to plant flowers as part of our Eco-Committee activities. In French with Mrs Johnstone, we created beautiful artwork inspired by a famous French artist, showing great creativity and effort.

To end the week, we attended a special assembly where we discovered that Ben Chonzie was the winning house of sports day – Well done to everyone for another wonderful week of learning and fun!
