This week we have been really busy with lots of work going into our snapshots. We have moved tables this week and now have 7 tables of 4!
In maths this week we have been working on division! We have also been working on how we can use our number line with Mrs Dedecker. With Mr Milligan we have continued to calculate change from £1 or £5.
In literacy we consolidated our spelling from the last 3 weeks. We also completed a reading comprehension on the Loch Ness Monster. With Mrs Dedecker we looked at nouns, adjectives and verbs, and had to underline words in different colours. In writing we continued with our persuasive writing and had to write a persuasive text in our new groups about whether we should watch movies on a Friday. We had great fun thinking of how we could write this as a team! We then completed a talking and listening activity where Mr McColl gave us instructions on how to draw Loch Ness!
We also went to the playroom this week and had stations on Charles Rennie Mackintosh, silly sentences with Scottish words, building Scottish landmarks with Lego or stem straws and glockenspiel.
This week we have had a really fun time learning lots of new things !
