This week we have been having emotional check-ins to ensure that everyone is being supported with their feelings and emotions.

We have been designing our own superheroes with their own super powers and costumes. This will lead into some writing next week.

We have been learning how to write a report. We made a plan and then wrote a report about starfish. We found out some interesting things about starfish. Did you know that they catch their prey with their arms and then their stomach comes out of their mouth and digests the prey before retuning back through the mouth again? We didn’t but we do now! They also have hundreds of legs on each arm.

We have been learning about endangered animals and thinking of ways we can help them. We are going to collect single use water bottles and then take them to Lidl for recycling. The money we earn from that we are going to put towards sponsoring an endangered animal. We can let you know which one, next week. WATCH THIS SPACE!!!
If you have any bottles at home, please do not throw them out. Send them in to help the animals!

We are also going to be picking litter from our playground. We ask you not to throw litter on the ground because the little animals might eat it. Then they would choke and maybe die.
