We have had a great week in P3B, being very responsible and kind. We got new coloured pencils and have been able to keep them organised very well!
In literacy we made cards for international woman’s day. We got to decorate them using paint and our fingerprints. We then wrote a message inside for a woman who inspires us! We made an Easter acrostic poem for our showcase and had to write them out very neatly with bubble writing and coloured pencil. With Mrs Dedecker we worked in partners with one of using reading a sentence and the other explaining how it made them feel. We were also looking at vowels with Mrs Dedecker.
In Maths and Numeracy, we continued with our unit on fractions. We looked at how a fraction can be more than one. We were really good at this and understood it well! We then went on to look at how you can find a fraction of a whole number using our division skills. With Mrs Dedecker we looked at metres and centimetres.
In IDL we have started looking at Easter in preparation for our showcase! We all have parts in our show and the lines are in our homework jotters. This week we have been focusing on our songs and adding actions and also practicing our lines for the upcoming performance.
Mr McColl is very excited to see all your easter bonnet designs! We would like to remind you that we are still collecting plastic bottles to raise money to adopt a lion. Thank you for all your help so far!
