A slightly shorter week but we did lots of fun learning.  We began by building  3D shapes and working on using number lines to help with our subtraction strategies.

 

Continuing on our Superhero theme in writing we wrote our own superhero stories where they used their super powers to save the day.  We then turned these in to comic strips which are looking fabulous and we will post some of these next week.

In literacy we continued our learning about the features of a non fiction text and worked with a partner to create some fabulous posters to help us remember.

 

We ended the week learning about leaf identification and how you can tell the type of tree by the shape of its leaves.
