This week, we finished our Scotland topic and had the exciting opportunity to see and hold some fascinating animals.

Literacy
In literacy, we continued working on persuasive writing. We also created a fact file all about Highland cows and completed activities linked to our reading books.

Maths
In maths, we continued learning about fractions and practised addition and subtraction using number lines.

Other Learning
We enjoyed a visit from Zoolab, who brought a variety of animals for us to meet, including a bearded dragon, a tarantula and a snake. We also created colourful Highland cow artwork inspired by the Scottish artist Steven Brown.
