This week, we continued working on our Scottish topic and completed our learning in our snapshot jotters.

Literacy
In literacy, we focused on improving our understanding of common and proper nouns and continued developing our persuasive writing skills. We also explored the poem The Sair Finger by Walter Wingate and discussed the Scots language used within the poem.

Maths
In maths, we moved on to finding fractions of an amount and revised our knowledge of different multiplication strategies.

Other Learning
We learned how to draw in the style of the famous Scottish artist Charles Rennie Mackintosh, discussed the qualities we think are most important in a friend, and learned about different Scottish musical instruments.
