This week, we continued exploring our Scottish topic and enjoyed demonstrating our spelling skills during our Open Afternoon.

Literacy
At the start of the week, we learned about and identified common and proper nouns. We also began our new writing genre, persuasive writing. To finish the week, we created a fact file about the famous Scottish architect and designer, Charles Rennie Mackintosh.

Maths
In maths, we continued our learning on fractions by naming and comparing fractions. We have also been practising using number lines and are now solving more challenging calculations.

Other
We completed our kilts this week, which are looking fantastic, and they are now displayed for everyone to see.
