We have had a fun and festive week in Primary 3! A highlight was our trip to the pantomime to see The Little Mermaid. Everyone had a fantastic time, and the children represented the school beautifully.

Literacy
This week, we focused on developing our visualisation skills. We worked on using clues from the text to create clear pictures in our minds, then used our five senses to help describe what we imagined.

Maths
In Maths, we have been learning how to calculate change when working with money. This week, we practised giving change from £1. Next week, we will continue building this skill by learning how to give change from £5.

Other Learning
We also learned about another important inventor—Thomas Edison. The class discovered how he invented the light bulb and helped bring electricity into people’s homes.
