What We Have Been Learning

🎶 Harvest Show
We have been busy practising for our Harvest Show! We have been learning our songs and practising our lines in preparation for our performance. Harvest Show lines can be found in their green homework jotter.

🔤 Phonics
We have been doing phonics every day and learning new sounds. We have been practising recognising and using our sounds to help us read and spell words.

📚 Reading
We have been reading every day and learning different reading strategies to help us understand what we are reading. We have been practising making predictions, using pictures and text clues, and talking about characters and events.

🔢 Numeracy
We have been developing our addition and subtraction skills, working with numbers to 20 and beyond. We have been using different strategies and practical resources to help us solve problems and explain our thinking.
