STRETCH AIM FOR THE PARKVIEW PRIMARY SCHOOL 2023/2024 – 92%

It is critical to maximise the attendance of all our children to ensure their well-being needs are met; to raise attainment and achievement and to close the poverty-related attainment gap.  We will do this through a nurturing approach intertwined with the strong relationships with our families.

Our aim is for all our children to attend 95%-100%.

There are 365 days most years, but only 190 of them are school days. This leaves 175 non-school days to spend on holidays, family time, visits and appointments.

Below is a representation of what your child’s attendance % equates to in days and weeks missed. Remember, it’s not too late in the year to improve your child’s attendance.
