S2 Holland Trip
Every June, our S2 pupils have the opportunity to go to Holland to spend 5 days visiting theme parks in Germany and Belgium as well as visiting the beautiful town of Valkenburg. We take an overnight ferry to Rotterdam then spend the trip staying in Valkenburg and going to Bobbeejaanland, Movie Park and Phantasialand theme parks. At night we have meals together, walk into the town square and play games in the hotel. On our last day we spend our day in the square, shopping and seeing the sights including racing down a hillside in a Toboggan, with a very picturesque ride in the chair lift on the way up and down. This trip allows the pupils an opportunity to immerse themselves in different cultures and enjoy spending time with their peers and staff in a different setting. The longest running trip in King’s Park Secondary and always a highlight for S2 pupils.
