International Women’s Day in French!

Today our S3 French pupils were looking at expressing ideas in French abut International women’s day. The young people were able to further develop their vocabulary through using their dictionary skills before working collaboratively to research a woman who they found to be inspiring and who has had an impact on society.

Mother Tongue Show

A massive well done to our Diversity Ambassadors for putting together this year’s Mother Tongue Show!

It was a great evening full of a variety of acts ranging from dancing, music and acting, which showcased the cultures at King’s Park Secondary School.

A very big thank you to all of our young people who spent hours rehearsing, who supported the event and to all staff who helped with the running of the event. I think we can all agree that their hard work paid off!

Well done to all those who took part.

Languages Week

Last week our S1 classes took part in a range of activities to celebrate Languages week.

We would like to say a massive well done to Finlay McFarlane from 1M2 for taking time aside at home to showcase a little about his culture through this fantastic poster.

Well done, Finlay!
