Interested in policing and making a difference in your community? British Transport Police (BTP) offers an exciting opportunity to explore careers in railway policing and learn how officers and staff help keep Britain’s railways safe.
You will meet people from different policing teams and take part in presentations, demonstrations, discussions and interactive activities.
You may learn about:
- Police officers and detectives
- Police dogs and forensics
- Intelligence and CCTV
- Contact centres and control rooms
- Custody, courts and the criminal justice system

Who Can Apply?
- Aged 14–17 when the placement begins
- Currently attending secondary school or college
- Have a personal email address
- Able to travel to Glasgow and attend the full programme
