At Ibrox Primary School French is taught as L2 (language 2) for our children. This is in line with Bellahouston Academy and the Modern Foreign Language children will study in S1. Spanish is our L3 and will be covered at different points throughout each session.

All children at Second Level (P5, P6 and P7) are taught a discrete French lesson each week. This includes learning new vocabulary as well as learning about France, French Culture and other French speaking countries.

From session 2020-21 all pupils throughout the school will receive daily French input to develop understanding and confidence in basic greetings and vocabulary. Class teachers will be delivering this input to their own classes.
