Thanks to everyone who came along on Friday. Attached is the letter which went home. Please return these on Monday.
I am looking to meet with all parents who have children in P7 and are considering going to Blairvadach on Friday this week, at 3pm in the hall. The meeting will be short and can be attended by parents with their children.
September is a wonderful time to visit Blairvadach, we went last year for a weekend in September, as the weather is much kinder than during the winter. The negative in going so soon is not having time to raise funds and having an expensive trip so close to the start of term.
I am aware that many families may find it hard to have funds together for September so am looking into the possibility of putting a payment plan in place to allow payments to be spread across 2023. Blairvadach is a wonderful experience and children do not need any additional items purchased to allow them to attend.
If anyone is unable to attend the meeting and wishes to discuss their child going to Blairvadach please get in touch with me.
Kind Regards
Mrs Chalmers
It has been lovely to see all our children looking so smart after the summer holidays. We will be taking our own class photos for use in school/ on app etc on Wednesday this week so please ensure children are in uniform. Please note these are not for purchase but just for use on school displays, app etc.
Good Afternoon,
I want to say a big well done to all our new P1 children, they all did so well today!
Just a reminder that P1 parents/carers can bring their child up into the classroom from 8:55am and come into school to collect from 2:55pm at the end of the day. If more suitable you can leave your child in the line at 9am and collect them from the infant gate at 3pm when the line is brought downstairs.
Thanks
Mrs Young
We would like to remind all parents/carers and friends of Ibrox of our event on Thursday
All are welcome to attend with doors opening at 1:15pm and the celebration starting at 1:30pm. Guests please enter by the door behind Cafe 13 which will give you access to the balcony seating. We look forward to celebrating with you all.
Please see info coming home today about our P7 residential trip in September
Emails have been drafted to go out at 9am this morning to let you know which class your child(ren) will be going into next session. Attached below is the list of classes and staff for session 23/24.
At some point next week our current P2-P6 children will have a chance to meet their new teachers.
Emails were sent to the main email contact for each child, if you do not normally receive emails from us please check your junk folder. If you did not receive an email please contact the school office on Monday after 9am.
It is that time of year, we need your views! Please take some time to fill in our annual questionnaire. We have kept the questionnaire anonymous this year so please be honest in your feedback. We analyse the data from our questionnaires to plan next steps and give input on where to focus our school improvements. Your opinion really does matter so please take some time to give your views. Pupils will give feedback to their own questionnaire later this week so this should be your views. Thanks in advance for your time.
All children in P1-P6 should have received a letter from their own class teacher today with details about our Summer trip to Troon. The letter is attached here Team Ibrox does Troon
Also attached to the letter which came home is an out of Glasgow consent form which must be returned to allow children to attend the trip.
If parents/carers are interested in attending the trip as a volunteer please contact the office. We already have a lengthy list of volunteers so names will go on a randomiser to choose who comes along.
The buses are always incredibly expensive, we are paying £1320 for P1-P6 to travel to Troon. We are very aware of the cost of the school day but would appreciate a £2 donation from each child. If everyone paid £2 it would cover less than 1/3 of the price of the coaches but would help us with the costs.
Please note P7 are not attending the trip as they are away on their overnight camping trip.
