Welcome to the section about the Parent Council
The Parent Council is for all parents and carers of Hyndland Secondary pupils and it provides the opportunity to hear about and discuss matters that affect the school and our children.
Since joining, I have always found the Parent Council meetings extremely helpful in finding out from Headteacher Mrs Edgerton, teachers and pupils what is going on within the school, as well as hearing about education developments in Glasgow and Scotland.
In the 2025-2026 school year, Parent Council meetings will be organised around specific topics that are important and helpful to us as parents, such as mobile phone use, and these topics will be added to the meeting dates.
Everyone is welcome and we look forward to seeing you at a future meeting.
