Understanding Scotland’s Qualifications

The SCQF is the qualifications framework for Scotland. It is used to compare and understand our country’s wide range of qualifications. The SCQF has 12 levels, ranging from basic introductory skills (level 1) to doctoral degrees (level 12). Each level signifies the complexity of the learning outcomes. It is important for our young people to understand this framework, but it also helps people of any age by showing the different routes they can take in their learning journey. Please have a look on the SCQF website (at the link attached) to learn more about SCQF and the support they provide.
