Scottish School’s Young Writer of the Year Award

A number of our Higher and Advanced Higher English pupils entered the Scottish Schools’ Young Writer of the Year Award again this year. We were delighted to find out that Amina Akhtar S5 was Highly Commended, meaning that her work is published on their website and she receives a book token prize. The competition is run by the Young Programme and judges included broadcasters Sally Magnusson and Keith Aitkin, as well as various artists and other communication professionals.
