P3 & 4 will be at Holyrood Secondary School at 11.00am

P1 & 2 will be at Holyrood Secondary School at 1.30 pm

Retirement Mass

February 16, 2017 by Mrs Marletta | 0 comments

As you know after 25 years as Head Teacher at Holy Cross Primary and 40 years in education Mr Carr is retiring. As part of the school’s celebrations, there will be a Mass to honour Mr Carr’s many years of dedication to education. Mass will be celebrated by Archbishop Philip Tartaglia on Wednesday 22nd February 2017 at 9.30pm in Holy Cross Parish Church. Parents, past pupils and members of the community are all warmly invited to attend. We would love for any family, who has been part of the school’s history, to be there and show their well wishes and appreciation for everything Mr Carr has done for our school.

Hope to see you all there!

Flowers, flowers everywhere!

February 1, 2017 by Mrs Marletta | 0 comments

Hello everyone,

January is over, which means we can officially start warming up for Spring (we hope the weather got the memo). All over the school grounds there are signs of new life, buds on the trees and flowers starting to grow. During outdoor learning and the gardening master class, children have been  clearing, planting and improving our outdoor space. They have worked so hard and learned a lot from our resident experts Mrs Leyden and Mrs Sinclair. We’re sure you will agree that their hard work really shows in these pictures. They’ve made a beautiful space that everyone in the school, and visiting our school, can enjoy. We’re very proud of and grateful to everyone involved. We can’t wait to see what else the planters and kitchen beds have to offer in the coming months.
