We have had a wonderful day to Dumfries House in Ayrshire. After a quick refreshment our children were put to work feeding the hens, geese, ducks and turkeys. They learned about the animals origins and how they have adapted to their habitats. The children were interested in learning about the animals’ diet and how they are farmed.
