Steven Brown inspired art 🎨

As we approach Robert Burns’ day, we thought it was very apt to study a Scottish artist. We chose to look at the work of Steven Brown and his famous ‘McCoo’ painting.

We learned the meaning of ‘abstract’ art.

We discussed his style and technique in a group and formed our personal opinions about his art work. The majority of us really like Steven Brown’s abstract art work due to his use of vibrant colours.

We then used paint to re-create his McCoo painting. How do you think we got on? ☺️🎨
