After months of hard work and preparation our P6 team took part in Euroquiz 2017. The children competed against other Glasgow schools and the depth of their knowledge of Europe was astounding! Well done Euroquizzers, we are all so proud of you!!!

Through Outdoor Learning Primary 3 and 4 have been planting trees from the Woodland Trust. We want to welcome wildlife into our garden and encourage birds and insects to live here. During Outdoor Learning Primary 2 have been learning how to plant potatoes and are looking forward to having a baked potato bonanza. They had to dig out a space, plant the seed potatoes, cover with soil and now they will have to continue to care for them as they grow. They will need to be vigilant as frost can damage a potato crop as can slugs!

As part of the Mark Scott Award we enjoyed a Health and Wellbeing filled afternoon lead by pupils from Holyrood. We learned about Healthy Eating, Physical Fitness, Positive Thinking and Expressive Arts.

In prepartion for World Book Day, we have been designing our own comics. We are working as a team to create one GIANT comic book. This will be on display for all to read at World Book Day tomorrow. We can’t wait!
