Hi Everyone!

I’m Miss Telford and I have been a PE teacher at Govan High School since 2019.

My favourite sport to watch is Golf, and I love to play Volleyball and Netball. I also go to the Gym for Fitness or Yoga before work!

This academic year I am teaching core PE and National 5.

To become a P.E teacher I attended the University of Strathclyde for 4 years completing a degree in Sport and Physical Activity. I then went on to complete a postgraduate degree in teaching. Whilst attending University I worked 2 part time jobs – one as a sports coach and another as a waitress.

Something special about me is that I wear a different colour of top and shoes depending on the day of the week…

Monday = Purple

Tuesday = Blue

Wednesday = Orange

Thursday = Pink

Yellow = Friday
