This Primary One/Two Fun with Crafts and Stories pack contains six family learning workshops designed to help parents/carers build their confidence in supporting their child’s learning around the themes of creativity, storytelling and reading for enjoyment.

Each session includes story time and craft activities around a popular children’s book.

The sessions have proven very popular with parents, children and staff alike, and have been piloted very successfully as an initial family engagement project, with parents being keen to progress onto taking part in a regular family book club.

The pack contains all the materials you need to plan, monitor and evaluate this family learning.
