Capacity & School Hours

Garnetbank Primary School is a non-denominational school situated on Renfrew Street in the Garnethill area of Glasgow.

Agreed capacity of the School:                              331 (working) 350 (planning)

Parents should note that the working capacity of the school may vary dependent on the number of pupils at each stage and the way in which the classes are organised.  

SCHOOL HOURS

Opening:                                09.00 am

Morning Interval              10.30am – 10.45am

Lunch                                     12.15pm – 1pm.

Dismissal                               3pm.

BREAKFAST CLUB

Breakfast club runs in the school term time. Children can attend breakfast club from 08.00 am where they are supervised before being taken to the play ground at 08.45am. Currently the cost is £2 per child (£3 for 2 children) per day.

AFTER SCHOOL

After school care facilities are available within the school building and are organised by Big Voices Childcare Services Ltd.

Composite classes         maximum 25

Composite classes have pupils from more than one stage.

DROP OFF/COLLECTION

Morning: adult presence in playground from 8.45am. Children can play until 9am.  Our playground gate is locked at 9.05am and all arrivals thereafter enter through the main foyer. 

3pm Collection:  Please come into the playground and keep the stairs and doorways clear.  Please encourage younger children to stay with a member of staff until they see you.
