S1 and S2 Science Course

All students study an integrated Science course in S1 and S2 which should (hopefully) involve having one Science teacher delivering Biology, Chemistry & Physics topics in each year.

·         Reproduction

·         Research Assignment

 

 

 The S2 Topics are

·         DNA, Inheritance  & Microbiology

·         Electricity

·         Chemical Structure

·         Environment and You

·         Forces

·        Nature’s Chemistry

·         Research Assignment

Mid way through S2 pupils will decide, through the options process, to choose anything from zero to all three of the discrete Sciences to study at National level from S3 onwards.
