What a Week!

We have been working extremely hard after an unexpected three days off due to that pesky Beast from the East!

This week we have been learning how to round numbers to 1 decimal place and the link between fractions, decimals and percentages.

“If the number is lower than five you round down, if it is higher than five you round up” – Leo
“0.17 rounded to 1 decimal place would be 0.2.. 0.562 rounded to one decimal place would be 0.6 as the number in the hundredth column is higher than five.” – Morgan, Scot, Calum, Alesha, and Caitlin

In Literacy, we started planning and writing procedural pieces of writing, and made instructions on how to build a snowman. We know to write in logical steps, in a correct order, use action verbs, and that it is in second person.

We showed how flexible we can be during P.E but not in the way you think! Instead of missing out on P.E we decided to team up with P2a and teach them some new gym games.
