Another Busy Week in P1a!
It has been yet another jam packed week of learning at Balornock! Here are some photographs that capture some of the highlights of our busy week….
We read a story called ‘Jenny and the Bear’ which taught us a little bit about the dangers of second hand smoke. The bear in the story wasn’t feeling very well and we learned that this was because Jenny’s mum and dad were smoking in the house. We also took part in a Scottish competition to name the bear. The most popular bear name in our class was Jet! Good luck in the competition boys and girls!
The boys and girls have been preparing for Valentine’s Day…love is in the air!!! We each made a card using our fingerprints to create our unique designs. I wonder who the lucky recipients of these fabulous cards will be???
