We took maths outside!

This term primary 4 are learning about British history and inventors. As part of this we will be learning about Fireworks and the reason we celebrate Bonfire night.

We wanted to learn more about fireworks and we discovered that fireworks travel up to a distance of 100m when fired in to the sky! To help us picture just how far that is we worked in groups and used a trundle wheel to measure 100m of the playground.

Primary four had great fun learning outdoors!
