Children pick out the food but i rarely do it .Children like to make their own accessories but i don’t.People in the rainforest live in different type of house that we or i live in.The children like to play football in the rainforest as much as we like it here in Glasgow

The children do lots of work in the village but I only do small chores. The children mostly eat red corn๐ŸŒฝ porridge while I,eat lot’s of different foods. The children don’t have cars and have to walk, while I use my car.

I eat lot’s of corn and so do they.

  5. says:

They live in a rainforest. People in the rainforest make their own accessories out of nutshells. They make their own houses out leaves and sticks. They love to play!

  6. says:

2 They usually make stuff out of plants.
3 All the children come when they are playing football.

    1 They wear vests.
2 They have different jobs like i have to take out the trash and feed my cat.

Some great observations made, Ike. Do you think their house chores are similar to yours though? Do you think they might have “tougher” chores than you, or do you think yours are “tougher” than theirs?

  7. says:

Hi miss Li I finally got on it so here is my home work

So in the Amazon rainforest, the children have to to play foot ball as a game. They make a beed necklace out of nut shells. Last but not least, they do not have shops in the rainforest and don’t have much money,so they have to walk ALOT to go to shops.

There is not much to simaler, but I’ve got a phew things, so here we go. They don’t wair socks because it is to warm. Lastly they look like they don’t get much food and not much school or education.

So I thought this was fun bye miss Li see you at school, byeee

    • says:

Well done ๐Ÿ™‚ Do you not see football here though? Is that really different to the children here? Also, remember that was only a 3 minute video – you might not have seen that they were “educated” and perhaps they had other food? The video just focuses on a few things.

  8. says:

The children put red corn in a bowl and put the seeds in one at a time and make Beed necklaces out of shells they also play sometimes. It is different to my life because we don’t make necklaces out of shells or even were necklaces made out of shells.

  9. says:

The children in the rainforest are helping their parents and are working everyday. They are weaving baskets and making porridge from Indian corn. They pick up the beads and they make necklaces. Their life is different from Glasgow, because the kids in the rainforest are working, but in Glasgow we are going to school and we are doing our homework.
The similarity is that they are playing and we are playing, too.

    • says:

Spot on! Great comparisons being made ๐Ÿ™‚ Be careful not to use commas where you don’t need them (you don’t need one before “because”)

  10. says:

1)they pick the corn off and make it into things like porridge-we use oats for porridge as well as milk
2)they sort out the nutshells to make new necklaces-we either just buy the beads to make them or get them ready made
3)they play on a solid floor or bits of wood- where as we play on either a sandy ground or a grass ground

they like to play football and they make porridge like us

    • says:

Do we use oats for milk??? But well done for making these observations.
**Don’t forget to use capital letters and full stops when you’re writing ๐Ÿ™‚

    • says:

Fantastic answers, Fatimah! Do you think you could weave a basket too? Must be really tricky! Watch out when you say “all children” love football – not everybody here likes football, but we certainly have similar sports here ๐Ÿ™‚

  14. says:

I like to watch my friends play football and so do they I like to make things so do they i love โค๏ธ to play so do they

That’s a good observation to make about the similarities, but remember to read the question and focus on what it is asking you to do. What were the three differences you could see?
