We have been learning about rights and have discovered that everyone has the right to shelter- even the Three Little Pigs! Mrs Lockwood set us a challenge to build house for the Three Little Pigs. In groups we worked together to create houses out of bricks, sticks and straw. Our houses are finished yet but here are some pictures of how we are getting on.

This term our P.E days have changed to a Monday and a Tuesday, it has taken a bit of getting used to but we are all gradually getting used to the change. P.E this term is lots of fun as we are learning to move in different ways like sliding and rolling. We are also learning about balance which means we get to use some of the big equipment.

Buddy the elf has come to check if the boys and girls are being naughty or nice. Although we love having him he makes a lot of mess! First he made a snow angel with our flour then he messed up all the numbers and the boys and girls had to sort them into the right order!

On Monday our student Miss Cairns read us a story called “The Worst Princess”. Afterwards we spent our time in Play To Learn by building a castle for the princess, making the dinosaur out of playdoh, painting a knight and acting out the story with puppets.

Every second Monday we are very lucky to have Miss Wells come to do music with us. We always learn lots and have lots of fun.

Lots of the children were very brave and tried ‘dooking’ for apples!

Look everyone we have been working hard on our numbers. We are learning about the number stories and counting objects to match a written number.
