Earth, Sun and Moon

In science we have been learning about how the earth and moon move.

You can see the children showing their learning – they showed the earth rotate as it revolved around the sun.

The moon orbits the earth.

P3 enjoyed using their bodies to show off their learning!

We have had a busy week!

This week is Snap Shot week, so you will see some of our work when it goes home.

Lots of our learning involves playing games and other activities – so you can see some of them in the photos below.

We also had lots of fun at our Halloween parade and party!   All of the costumes were great terrifying!  Well done Hayleigh and Mnsour who won the prize for P3.

In science we investigated how our shadows moved in the playground.  It looks like the sun moves in the sky, but actually it’s the earth rotating!
