At Blairvadach, we fully believe that outdoor learning and outdoor education will have a strong part to play in the coming weeks, months and years and hope these cards can encourage those little steps into a new learning environment or bounds into a huge world of opportunity.

Week 2 is just around the corner, with five exciting and educational reasons to get out of the classroom environment. We’ll be using our literacy skills to create a five line poem on Monday. Our physical and creative skills while compleying our obstacle courses on Tuesday. We will be examining and recording the ecosystem of a bush/shrub on Wednesday with a bug shakedown. Using numeracy skills to measure a tree on Thursday. On Friday, we close the week with a look at compasses and how the can be used in cross curricular learning.
