We are working on our problem solving skills in Maths today.
We were using different strategies such as trial and error and drawing diagrams to help us solve different problems.
Take a look at some of our hard work!

We had a great storytelling session with Ben today. We were using our senses, to help us fully immerse ourselves in the story.
We started off with a very interesting game where we had to mime things we found in the River Clyde.
Then Ben told us a story about Jack and the Selkies. We had lots of resources to help us feel like we were a part t of the story.
We then looked at some pictures of Glasgow over a hundred years ago, particularly around places that there was shipbuilding and industry.
We then worked in groups to create “pictures” to show people working on the shipyards. Ben the tapped people on the shoulders to say the thoughts running through their heads at that moment in the picture.
Bashayer has been learning how to do take away sums that require carrying. This can be quite tricky, but she is using concrete materials to help her with this. Look how well she is doing and how hard she is working!
Well done Bashayer 😊
We finally got a chance to play on our new pitch yesterday. This is now known as a MUGA; Multi Use Games Area.
We used our PE time yesterday to go explore it and get used to working on it.
There were some very happy children yesterday!
Here are some pictures of P4/5 engaged in a follow up task from our storytelling session yesterday.
They are writing a letter to loved ones about their journey to new lands after being forced out of their homes during the Highland Clearances,
They worked very hard during the storytelling session and definitely some Oscar worthy performances during the drama section!
