I will never forget the time when we made pizzas and when we made our own Charlie and the chocolate factory inventions. You can watch my video on the videos page.

Now that it’s Easter, we can all enjoy some egg-shaped treats! In the run up to the Easter break, P5 and Class 2 ran a very successful bake sale in aid of Missio Scotland. This charity helps people in the developing world to have a better life through basic things like providing clean water, medicines and education.
We raised over £100 to send to Missio by selling our cakes so thanks to all the parents who helped to provide the goods to sell! Thanks too to anyone who bought the cakes from us!

Rather a late post on this but just in time to remind you to take your library books back this week!
On March 23rd, Pollokshields Library welcomed P5 for a Non-Fiction Workshop! We were introduced to the Dewey Decimal system which all libraries in the UK use to organise their non-fiction books. The system arranges books in topics so you can find all the books about ‘Medieval Life’ for example without having to know the authors. It’s very handy.
We had a fun quiz to practise using the system and then had time to browse the lovely books on offer. Lots of our mums came with us too! Hopefully we’ll be able to go to the library at weekends on our own now we all have library cards!
