All children in Nursery – P5 are eligible for a free lunch regardless of their parents financial circumstances. If you are on a low income, it is well worth seeing if you can register your child for free meals because you will then receive free milk and a clothing grant as well.

Nursery parents order lunch with Nursery staff and the children eat in the playroom supervised by the Early Years Officers. P1-7 parents order lunch through the online system and the children eat in the lunch room supervised by a teacher or member of support staff. We ask that all  P1-7 parents choose and order their child’s lunch with them at home to ensure they are getting the meal they like.

They will be able to have lunch on the first day even if you aren’t set up yet. Please note that the system is only for P1-7 children, Nursery parents don’t use it.
